This week LinkedIn has announced a major renovation of its Company Pages feature. You can now refer to them simply as Pages. As they say:
“LinkedIn Pages — the next generation of LinkedIn Company Pages. Pages have been rebuilt from the ground up to make it easier for brands, institutions, and organizations, from small businesses to large enterprises, to foster constructive conversations with LinkedIn’s community“.
What’s new in LinkedIn Pages
- LinkedIn Pages feature is now fully mobile friendly. It has a complete management and posting functionality. You can now administer your pages on the go.
- You can now associate your LinkedIn pages with hashtags which will help to match your pages with a specific topic or audience.
- Now you also have more content sharing options with new LinkedIn’s pages. Additionally, to texts, images and videos, you can now share documents, like PowerPoint presentations, Word Documents and PDFs.
Why do you need LinkedIn pages?
Research shows that social posts, especially made by employees, can generate much higher (up to 8x more) engagement. This engagement results in the increased willingness to re-share this content. It also leads to an interest boost, additional attention to your company and to your business.
Personal and company pages are an additional source of information about yourself or your company. It makes it easier to discover your profile on the internet in LinkedIn community.
